Summer Life

This might be the most behind in blogging I've ever been! After the Sellers family left, Daniel and I were treated to a free night of babysitting by some friends, so we took advantage and headed to The Cheesecake Factory (a first for both of us!) using a gift card I won on Mother's Day. We loved it and will definitely be returning!

Then Noah headed to Grandma and Grandpa Shoemaker's house for a week of fun and VBS. He had a blast spending time with his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He loved having a sleepover with Aunt Janice, Uncle David, and Cousin Matthew. And catching fish with Uncle Chris and Aunt Jodi was so fun!

Noah did great at his closing program. He loved singing all of the songs and doing the actions!

We've also loved walks on Grant's Trail while Noah continues to learn to ride his bike. He's been doing great!
And we love going on walks around the neighborhood. Noah isn't too into them lately, but Lyla loves to go...especially if she isn't confined to the stroller! Our pace has gotten a lot slower lately!

Lyla got this adorable dress from a past co-worker. The picture isn't good but the dress is!
Noah is a tad (A LOT) terrified of storms, so when the perfect storm (hard rain but no lightening or thunder) came along, we took advantage and took him out to play.
Can you find him??

Noah has loved swim lessons with Mrs. Jeni. He went from crying and refusing to get into the water, to jumping in and going under all in the first lesson. She's a gem!

And we love our trips to the Magic House. The beach exhibit was a huge hit!

It's been very rainy lately so we are very ready for some sunny hot weather! Happy summer!
