Playing

It's what we do best, really.

We got a new car (new to us) recently. It has a DVD player, so Daniel put in his favorite childhood movie. Now Noah requests it and claps along to the songs.

Playing in the pool with Daddy.

Watering the tree.

Noah has a recent fear of the bathtub. We can't get the boy to sit down in the water without screaming hysterically, which held true in the pool, too. We have no idea what happened ot change his love of water, or how to fix it. Ideas are welcomed!

We got a Cozy Coupe for free. No, it isn't as pretty as a new one, but it works just the same, and Noah LOVES it!

Of course he will sit in the pool without water in it! :)

"Helping" Mommy carry the bag.

Reading books with our buddy Cole.

Noah saw Cole climb in the dog cage and started laughing loudly. He then decided to try it, too.

Noah then decided Daddy needed to try out the cage, too.

At this point, Daniel said, "I can see the caption on the blog now. Daniel's in the doghouse!" haha. If the caption fits.....

Then Noah decided to get in and cuddle up with Daddy.

Oh, the things we do for fun with our children!
Hard work makes for a sleepy boy!!

Purina Farms

Last weekend we took a little trip out to Purina Farms. Noah loved checking out the animals, including watching a cow being milked and trying to pet baby pigs and bunnies. We got to watch a dog show, and while he clapped for the tricks, I don't think he really understood what was going on. But hands down, Noah's favorite parts were playing with tractors and climbing through tunnels.

Waving to the ducks.

He doesn't sit still long enough for a smiling picture!

The next day was Father's Day, and while we certainly appreciate the daddy in our house, I didn't document the day by any pictures. Mommy fail. Daniel enjoyed grilling some of his favorites with our good friends, the Rileys. Happy Father's Day, Daniel! We love you!

Silver Dollar City

We made a trip to Lebanon last weekend, and then on to Branson the next day for a visit to Silver Dollar City. This was Noah's first trip, so we were a little hesitant, not knowing how he would manage in a crowd like this and out of his normal routine. We shouldn't have worried--we had a great day! The weather was a little dreary in the morning but cleared off beautifully.

Playing at Grandma's and Grandpa's before leaving for Branson.
The carousel. You may remember Noah loved this his first time at Grant's Farm a few weeks ago. This isn't the best picture, but clearly it wasn't such a hit this time around!
After a ride on the train and some lunch, Noah fell asleep in the stroller for a good snooze.

After his nap, we hit the splash pad. This was definitely the highlight of Noah's day. As soon as he got out of the stroller, he started running and screaming/squealing like he knew exactly what was going on. We had a very wet and very happy little boy.

Another big hit was the massive ball pit/play area. Noah cried when it was time to leave this area.

We finished our day with a trip to Lambert's. With just a short nap, and eating about an hour past his bedtime, Noah was a champ. He loved sitting with Grandma!
But the weekend sure did wear him out!
What a fun time we had. :)
