Laughing at Noah, view #1.

Laughing at Noah, view #2.

This girl has blossomed overnight...her babbling has exploded since two days ago! Now this is what we hear almost constantly!

Trying out her sippy cup.

Swimming

Our first time out this summer, and Lyla's first time ever. Both kiddos loved the water! Lyla just kicked her feet and floated along. Noah loved jumping into the water...so much so that he jumped once when no one was counting and reading to catch him. So thankful that Daniel was close and got to him just as his head hit the water. Noah got a little talking to about water safety and Daddy got a minor heart attack!

Noah also got a couple of mosquito bites. One on his forehead and one on his temple. Apparently the poor boy is highly allergic to mosquitoes...the next few pictures don't do justice to the amount of swelling his face suffered. He looked like a completely different child. A round of antibiotics later for possible infection plus some intense Benadryl and Ibuprofen and we think our little boy is on the mend. He was a trooper!

Lyla's first time sitting up in the cart. Grocery shopping is so much easier without hauling the carseat!

Six Months!

Likes: Sleeping through the night (hooray!), sweet potatoes, broccoli, rolling belly to back two seconds after being put down for "tummy time", sucking on the washcloth in the bathtub
Dislikes: Peas, green beans

She's starting to have a little stranger anxiety, especially if wearing glasses. The adoration for Noah continues and she turns to find him any time she hears his voice. She is close to sitting on her own for a few seconds and is getting more and more vocal. Size 6-9 month clothes are comfortable, though definitely a little more roomy when she's in disposable diapers instead of cloth!
