Oh boy

Well, this blog is just slipping through my fingers...I desperately want to keep it going, mostly for posterity's sake, but other things keep taking priority. Adjusting to a family of five has been difficult and amazing rolled into one. Our precious kiddos are growing by the second and we couldn't love them more, even through the hard days. Just once I got a little behind on the blog, it made it easier to say, "I can't blog right now--I don't have enough time to catch it up!" So, I'm going to have to resort to a photo dump. Two photo dumps, really. A dump from my phone and one from my camera. Sorting pictures into timeline would take so long that my kids will be out of the house before I get to Allie's first birthday!

So here we go!

I went back to work...Allie was fussy. Daniel dropped her off and I had her to sleep in a few minutes. She just needed Mama. :)

Snuggles with Daddy.

Allie was not a great sleeper after her first few weeks of life. I always said I wouldn't be that parent, but she often ended up in our bed halfway through the night. Just laying next to me would get a 5-6 hour stretch out of her!

Lyla ADORES Allie. She begs for a hug every morning and constant snuggles. Allie is so tolerant, and is even giving Lyla some smiles now (at three months old.)

We celebrated Cole's birthday with a Ninja party.

The kids thought Allie needed a headband too.

Allie likes to wake Lyla up!

Easter baskets from Grandma Sampson.

We were crazy and took on a remodel project. Daniel's dad came with Aunt Sally for a week to get going. This is the "before view" from the kitchen into the living room. We took out the wall behind the couch.

This is the "before" view from the front door into the front room. We took out the wall on the left.

Demolition!

Down to the studs and pulled up the laminate. This is the living room area.

Allie was doing physical therapy for her torticollis. With the remodel, we got kicked out of the house throughout the day. So we had to do tummy time and exercises wherever we could. This was her propped over the top of her carseat in McAllister's!

The wall is down and the old flooring is up! A new I-beam is up in the rafters.

See? I helped!

Grandpa had to make sure to get in some snuggle time, too!

Daniel tiger exhibit at the Magic House.

A new wall coming up on the right to make the room symmetrical.

Celebrating the end of a hard week with Golden Corral's chocolate fountain.

We are fairly certain this baby will be our last, so I try to soak up these cuddles whenever I can!

This boy is the most tender-hearted, caring, helpful kiddo you've ever met. I love him to the moon and back!

He kept asking for a fidget spinner for his birthday. I told him no repeatedly, so of course he was thrilled to get one after all! :)
