15 Months!

Lyla had her 15 month check up today. She is doing great with 10 teeth, 23 pounds, and lots of tricks! She is walking all over the place, with occasional falls, of course. She can say: mama, daddy, Bubby, baby, poopy, diaper, night-night, hi, bye, puppy, please, uh-oh, shoes, belly. She can sign: milk, please, all done, more. She can find: belly, head. She can make animal noises for: puppy and lion.

She makes us laugh all the time with her crazy facial expressions. Somehow, she rolls her eyes kind of appropriately, and then she will bust up laughing at herself. She is especially attached to Noah and will not go to bed without her hug and kiss from him. She is a Daddy's girl through-and-through and cries hysterically anytime he leaves her.

Noah is equally great. He is a fantastic brother and loves helping her. He is so quick to get her cup for her or her baby and always wants to share his snacks with her. He loves putting dishes away, sorting and loading laundry, and cooking with Mommy and is quickly learning his way around the kitchen. While he loves his "hang out with Mommy days (and Lyla)", he also enjoys his Wednesday nights with Daddy (and Lyla) when they get pizza and watch a movie while Mommy works. We are working through some fit-throwing (a sticker chart is in progress)---last week he threw a 5 minute tantrum because he kept saying he wanted coffee and I said we didn't have any (and wouldn't have given him any anyway)....but he is learning to "obey" (and can quickly recite our definition when prompted--doing what Mommy/Daddy says quickly and without fussing).

We are blessed!
