Noah has finished his first week at the new daycare (LECE). Drop-off has been difficult, but the teacher promises he doesn't cry again after that. He is certainly happy when we go pick him up, which is always nice to see. These are pictures the teacher sent us his first day of school.
Wasn't that sweet? How many big daycares do you know that would take the time to send pictures of your little guy on his first day to reassure the nervous mama? I think we're going to like this place. Apparently, Noah is the only one who can turn his head sideways to drink out of the sink faucet. Um...we're so...proud?? :)
Today also marks 20 weeks for Baby #2. This poor little peanut is getting a little neglected in terms of blog appearances. Noah had his own weekly updates on his own blog. Poor #2. But everything else baby-wise is going well as far as we know. We have the anatomy ultrasound on Tuesday, so prayers for that and continued baby's health would be appreciated.
This has been a crazy week in our house. Well, outside of our house, really. Monday night, both of our vehicles were broken into and things stolen out of them. The cars weren't damaged, but our sense of safety and security was! However, we have great neighbors, which makes the story better. One neighbor found my wallet around the entrance to the subdivision (cash missing, but all the cards still in place!) and another neighbor found the face plate to Daniel's stereo, completely unscratched! We're thankful to those men, and to God for taking care of us!
What?! Baby #2?! How did I miss this?! Congrats, Dawn!!!
