2014 Family Photos

Our friend Megan took our yearly pictures last weekend. She did a great job, as always! Our trip to Union Station was a first visit for our family...we weren't really impressed with it as a touristy spot, but it worked just fine for the setting for pictures. :)

I love this one...even if the boys are in the background. :) 

I also love that Lyla's dress came from one of my old sweaters! Re-purposing it was a little trickier than I thought it would be, but I thought it turned out perfect for this little girl!

First Snow!

Our first snow came early this year. We got around two inches over the weekend and had so much fun playing in it. We had to laugh pretty hard at Lyla as she highly resembled the little kid on A Christmas Story. Noah loved being pulled on the sled but Lyla wasn't quite sure what to make of it!

Eleven Months!

Just a wee bit late in posting this...

We are so close to a birthday! I'm in disbelief. She's awesome and makes us smile every day. She's getting more interactive, especially with Noah. She loves going in to wake him up in the morning and sometimes seems to call his name ("Na-na!"). We are pretty convinced she says "Hi" and sometimes "mama" specifically. She loves to imitate silly sounds and cuddle with her purple monkey.

Likes: commando crawling, laughing with Noah, pizza
Dislikes: green beans (still! this might be a permanent thing!), shoes and socks

 

Of all the attempts at a sibling photo, this is the best...quite unfortunate. :) 

Little Man when he was 11 months old. Lyla's always been more serious during photo shoots than Noah was.
