We've Got a Mover!

Lyla is closer to crawling than Noah ever was! She's moving commando style and we couldn't be more excited!

Lyla was rolling all the way across the kitchen to get away from Noah and back again, laughing all the way. She didn't do it quite as much when I turned on the video, but you can still see the intent and hear the giggles. Love the love they have!

Ten Months

Likes: standing, waking Noah up in the mornings, rolling
Dislikes: being confined (no more jumper love), green beans (just can't get that girl to eat them! We get a scrunched up nose face and spitting out every time!)

Fun Weekend and Life Lately

We enjoyed a family outing to the high school football game last weekend. Lyla loves being snuggled into the Moby! 

The next day we took our annual trip to the pumpkin patch, where Noah loved playing on the playground with Daddy, climbing inflatables, and eating kettle corn. 

Those slides were fast! Even Daddy ended up on the ground! 

Lyla once again loved her snuggle time in the Moby.

Noah wasn't too interested in the rock wall, but made sure Daddy still had his skills.

Lyla graduated from the baby tub and loves being able to reach Noah's toys better! 

We mostly shop at Aldi's, so a rare trip to Schnucks found this fantastic Noah-sized shopping cart (the sign says "Customer in Training"). Noah loved being in charge of putting things in the basket. 

A very sweet friend gave us their old swingset. Our kids are in heaven! 

This position cannot be comfortable, sweet girl! 

Anyone else's bathroom decorated by a 2-year-old and 3-year-old? No? Just mine? Thankful it was just bath crayons, and they were sweet enough to stay on the tub and toilet! (It looked a lot worse in real life!)

Nine months

Likes: Solid food, rolling, watching Noah

Lyla continues to be such a happy baby. She smiles at everyone who looks at her and loves waving when people leave. She weighed in right at 20 pounds at her check-up. Her pediatrician says we need to keep an eye on her gross motor skills (which we heard all of Noah's first year) but she is otherwise growing right on track. We're thankful for her sweet presence!

This is what you call a botched photo shoot. Typically, I only post my favorites....but....then I'd be only posting one pic! I'm not even showing you the worst of the worst. I guess month nine was a wash!
