7 months!

It's a record. Not only were these pictures actually taken on her 7 month birthday, they are being posted on her 7 month birthday, too! :) Photos courtesy of Daniel this time. He did a stellar job.

Likes: Puffs, watching Noah, rolling onto her tummy constantly, laughing when Daddy tickles her ribs, jumper
Dislikes: Falling asleep anywhere except Mommy's arms, Mommy thinking she can walk farther than five feet away

The church nursery tells us she is the happiest and most talkative baby there. She continues to be completely enamored by Noah, who returns the love and is enjoying helping to feed her Puffs with supervision. She's starting to sit for several seconds independently, and has two tiny pearly whites.

We are all looking forward to a visit from the Sampsons (and the Shoemaker grandparents a few days later) to help celebrate Noah's birthday this weekend!) (We're also mourning the loss of Daniel's Jeep, which was stolen just a few days ago and praying everything works out with that situation as we are now a one car family!)

Noah at 7 months:

Fourth of July

We got to spend this holiday with our good friends, Mark, Emily, and Cole. Our buddies from college (Danielle, Preston, Grayson, and Brantley) came into town to stay with Mark and Emily, too, so we had a bigger crew for more fun!
We started with some relaxation in the hammock.

Lyla loved her borrowed skirt from Kadence! (Thanks, Brooke!)

After a delicious dinner, we headed to Webster Groves to play until fireworks. Noah liked climbing the rock pile with Daddy.

Happy 4th!

This smirk has Grandpa Sampson written all over it! :)

It's basically impossible to get five children to look at the camera and keep all fingers out of mouths....

So fun spending time with these girls and their families!

Noah got another bug bite...despite our almost constant spraying of bug repellant. This poor boy's ankle was so swollen...again, the picture doesn't do it justice. He's a trooper!

Lyla loves the water and really enjoyed her first shower. She's a water baby!
