Wednesday

Wednesday was too rainy to play outside, so the crew spent some time shopping. But that night, of course more pre-birthday presents.

Clean boy snuggling with Grammy after bathtime.
Opening a bag full of fun craft supplies from Grammy and Grandpa.

Play-doh was a huge hit!

Grant's Farm

On Tuesday, Grammy, Grandpa, Daniel, and Noah went to Grant's Farm. Of course, Noah opened more pre-birthday presents that night, too.

Riding the carousel with Grammy.

Noah really liked coloring on these neat little books Grammy and Grandpa gave him.

Big Boy Haircut and More

Grammy and Grandpa Sampson came to visit over the past week. We had so much fun, this is going to require multiple posts to update so I can get all the pictures semi-organized.

Grammy and Grandpa got here on Sunday and spent the day playing with Noah and opening a few birthday presents.

Noah also loved trying on Grandpa's sandals.
Noah helped Mommy make a cheesecake. Well, he helped clean off the beater, anyway!

Daniel took off work all week and got to spend lots of quality time with them, too. Monday, Noah went off to get a MAJOR haircut. You can look back in the last few posts to see how long it had gotten....it was overdue!
Pre-haircut playing.

Pretty excited about sitting in the choo-choo.
Checking out his post-cut new 'do.
Grammy bought him some new tractors (his latest obsession) to help with distraction during the haircut.
What a big boy!
I mean, seriously. So cute.
Monday night we had some friends over for dinner and game night. Girls vs. boys Gin can be brutal, but the Girls rose victorious in the end (as usual). :)
Cole and Noah ended up in (unplanned) semi-coordinating dinosaur pajamas, so we had to grab the opportunity for a photo shoot.

Cute boys.
Monday was a blast!

Suson Park

Noah and I got to enjoy a play date with Emily and Cole last weekend. It was a beautiful day, and after Noah finished his 15 minute crying fit (because I had put him in the stroller...) we enjoyed every bit of it!

Climbing up to the highest slide at the playground all on his own. So proud. :)

Suson also has a great selection of farm animals. Noah loved walking through the big barn and pointing out all of the cows and horses. He just wouldn't stand still long enough to get a picture with any!

Fascinated by the horse and his trainer.

He kept claiming the chickens and roosters got his finger. They didn't. But he thought it was hilarious to tempt them!

I also had my 16 week baby check-up last week. Though they couldn't find the heartbeat initially (that's a heart-wrenching moment....), it was quickly identified on the ultrasound, beating in the 170s. The benefit of that scare was that we got some early pictures of our little one. The knees were touching so no idea on the gender yet. But sorry to disappoint...no one gets to know any way. :)
