Week 3

We loved having Chris and Jodi and Austin and Aaron for a visit this weekend!

Noah is going to be a model for an occupational therapy presentation. The following pictures are for the presenter (shout out to you, Amy!)  It's hard to get good pictures of his head control and his leg flexion...he moves so fast the pictures all turn out blurry! :)

 

These are Random...

Today was a major milestone in Noah's life. His first bout of massive vomiting. It was definitely a lot of stomach contents...he wasn't upset at all, but he earned himself a 2nd bath in the span of 15 minutes. We're just praying it was a fluke thing and that he isn't sick!

We had a massive rain storm on Saturday. 

The thunder and lightening was incredibly loud, but Noah slept through it. Our gutters couldn't even keep up with the downpour!

First Bath

My new cord came to connect my camera to the computer! So now we get pictures of Noah's first bath. He's had two more baths since the first one and has still loved them! He's such a good baby. 

Uncle Mark and Aunt Denise came to visit yesterday and today. We took Noah on his first restaurant outing.

Noah got his first bottle from Daddy yesterday. Noah needed a little external pacing, but Daniel did great without my help. :)

First Week at Home

We're getting there!
Monday was a rough day for Noah and I, but each day has been getting easier as we've figured each other out and gotten into more of a routine.

On Tuesday, Noah got dressed up for a trip to Daddy's office. He spent two hours meeting Daniel's co-workers and then we had a lunch date to Chipotle. Noah then spent three hours napping (meeting people is exhausting!) which is a really long nap for him! 

Today I made cookies...

...while Noah took a 45 minute nap in his crib!! (This is a HUGE deal for him...he usually doesn't last more than 10 minutes  sleeping flat on his back...)

Then I even got his birth announcements ordered while he took a second nap this afternoon. We've definitely had a great day!

Meet the Shoemakers

Noah took his first trip to Lebanon this weekend to meet the Shoemaker clan. Our weekend was busy, but we loved seeing everyone! Noah got lots of lovin', hugs, and presents. We can't wait to put some to good use!

We also got professional pictures taken (thanks, Ry and Danielle, for letting us tag along with you!) and you can see those on our previous post. 

The rest of last week was full of organizing the house--Mom was an awesome help! Noah also lost his belly button cord on Thursday so we got to give him his first bath. He loved it! He didn't fuss until we took him out! We took pictures, but sadly, I forgot to put the memory card back in the camera after updating the blog the night before! We don't have a cable to transfer the pictures from the camera to the laptop because it was in the apartment when the fire happened. Daniel ordered me a new cord so I'll transfer the pictures when we get it.
